Hayden Navarro welcomes you to the AILENE blog

Hello, dear friend,

There are no words to express how grateful I am for this opportunity to talk to you, an earthling! I didn’t think it was possible to communicate outside our little planet, but here we are. I’m amazed.

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Hayden Navarro, I’m 23, and I live on planet Adeliae. I’m originally from the desert country, the Wastelands, but at this moment I’m living… well, let’s not spoil too much.

Together with my friend, Jax Braeden, I was asked to start a blog to introduce you to our planet, our lives, habits, friends, families, and… ourselves. At first, you will hear mostly from me, since the first book, AILENE, is my story. I use the word ‘my’ because I’m comparing this book to Purpose, which is Jax’s story. But I prefer ‘our story’. AILENE isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us.

It’s about two Wastelander boys and a womkey who had no idea what they were getting themselves into. It’s about people who struggled to make the world a better place, but never gave up. It’s about people and animals with extraordinary abilities, about good people who made disastrous mistakes, but then also tried to make up for them, and about people who were blinded by greed and power. It’s also about people who deserved better, and about people who got what they deserved. But most of all, it’s about love, and how we desperately need it to make sense of it all.

I hope I’ll be able to introduce you to Ailene in a way that won’t spoil anything, but will make you want to read and love the book as much as I do. Because, let’s be honest, that’s the goal :) Expect stories about our pasts, information about our planet, news articles, messages from friends and family, and much more!
